When fear feels louder than faith

Scripture

Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Psalms 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

• Isaiah 41:10
• Psalms 23:4
• 2 Timothy 1:7

Reflection

The Bible repeatedly pairs fear with God's presence and help, not with a denial of danger.

Prayer

Father, you are with me. Steady my heart where I feel exposed.

Pause and consider

Write the fear in one sentence, then write Isaiah 41:10 beside it.
