Work done before God
Scripture
Translation: KJVColossians 3:23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
Colossians 3:24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
Proverbs 16:3 Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.
Psalms 90:17 And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.
Reflection
Work becomes an act of service when it is done for the Lord rather than for anxious approval.
Prayer
Lord, establish the work of my hands and keep my motives honest.
