Strength for the part that is left

Scripture

Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Psalms 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Reflection

Biblical strength begins with God's presence and help, not with pretending that the burden is light.

Lord, I am low on strength today. Hold me up and steady my next step.
