Healing, prayer, and honest hope
Scripture
Translation: KJVJames 5:14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
James 5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
Psalms 147:3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Reflection
Scripture invites prayer for healing while placing suffering within God's grace, not a formula.
Prayer
Lord, heal where you will heal and sustain me where you do not remove this yet.
